Longing for Light

You are invited to join us  for a new Advent series entitled, Longing for light, at the St. Anthony Shrine, 5000 Colerain Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45223.

The three Wednesdays during Advent, we’ll gather from 7 pm - 8 pm.  We’ll start with songs, prayers, a talk and then confession.

December 4:
The History and Theology of the Advent Wreath, Fr. Mark Soehner, OFM

December 11:
Remembering God's Covenant, Fr. Clifford Hennings, OFM

December 18:
Gaudete! Rejoice, for He is near!, Fr. Clifford Hennings, OFM

This is a wonderful way to experience the anticipation of Advent. All are welcome: Feel free to invite your friends, neighbors or loved ones -- perhaps someone you would like to introduce to our faith.

Provincial Minister Fr. Mark Soehner, OFM, will host the first service, The History and Theology of the Advent Wreath, on December 4.  Get to know Fr. Mark in this video by Franciscan Media.
